Williams Ridge is a difficult hike in the Chilliwack Valley area. The initial trail is a steep, leg busting climb up to the ridge. People who try this one will laugh at the Grouse Grind! The round trip is 12 km (7.5 mi) with an elevation gain of 1420 m (4660 ft). The average grade is 23.7% and if you make it you’ll arrive at a rocky knoll with an elevation of 1880 m (6170 ft).

From here you can extend the hike by making the Class 3 scramble up to Williams Peak but you should be equipped for this and prepared to add 3-4 hours onto a hiking time which is already at 8 hours!
