Munro Lake can be found in Pinecone Burke Provincial Park in the Fraser Valley area. It’s an intermediate level hike to what is now 5 small lakes which are collectively known as Munro Lake. A dam on Munro creek was erected and this allowed the supply of water to a local quarry. This drained the lake and that is why there are now 5 smaller ones. The dam has since been decommissioned and slowly Munro Lake is returning to its former glory.

Dennett Lake has been added to the TrekBC Hiking Guide! This hike is in the Fraser Valley area and is part of Pinecone Burke Provincial Park. It’s an intermediate 12 km (7.5 mi) round trip visiting 2 beautiful lakes and a view point with stunning views from Mounts Judge Howay and Robie Reid to Golden Ears, the Cheam Range, Slesse Mountain, the Border Peaks and Mount Baker.

Burke summit is an intermediate 20 km (12.5 mi) hike in Pinecone Burke Provincial Park. The summit is found along Burke Ridge and should not be confused with Burke Mountain which is a slightly higher peak on the same ridge.
